Shi-Jim Yen
is an associate professor of Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering in National Dong Hwa University. He is an IEEE CIS Membership, has received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He specialized in artificial Intelligence and computer games. In these areas, he has published over 50 papers in international journals or conference proceedings. He is a 6-dan Go player. He served as a workshop chair on 5th international conference on Grid and Pervasive Computing in 2010, and a workshop chair of 2010 International Taiwanese Association for Artificial Intelligence (TAAI) conference. He serves as a workshop co-chair of 2011 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems. He is the Chair of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Emergent Technologies Technical Committee (ETTC) Task Force on Emerging Technologies for Computer Go in 2010. |
